The Department of Geomatics Engineering aims to establish an academic and administrative infrastructure capable of fulfilling its responsibilities, to train graduates with the capacity to work both nationally and internationally, to link education with service production based on societal needs and social justice, to ensure the continuity of this relationship, to define future-oriented goals and objectives, and to conduct activities in adherence to scientific ethical principles.

The mission of the Department of Geomatics Engineering is to advance and promote the profession, which provides services in areas such as urban planning applications, agricultural land consolidation, public works, and other related fields; to provide students with the education and training required by the discipline; to ensure that graduates achieve internationally recognized qualifications; to conduct scientific research and publish in relevant areas; to monitor international developments in the field and formulate policies in line with national and societal interests; to develop solutions for professional and technical problems in the country and its region; to implement and apply professional advancements; and to train qualified academic personnel required by universities and public institutions.
